— About This Service
Specialist immersion heater installation and servicing across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. From single- and dual-element replacements to full cylinder controls, we fit and commission systems to current UK wiring regulations and hot-water standards. Backed by 35 years' experience and accredited with TrustMark, City & Guild, our team handles emergency faults, planned upgrades and timer optimisation for night-rate or smart schedules.

— Our Process
We inspect the cylinder, element(s), thermostat and control wiring, then explain the most reliable, compliant solution for your property type.
Agree a day and time, order any manufacturer parts required and prepare the cylinder and electrical feed for a safe, tidy installation.
— Benefits
35 years in domestic and light-commercial electrical work means practical solutions for Victorian terraces, new-builds and MK estates — no guesswork.
Faulty element or no hot water? Our 24/7 emergency electrician service gets a qualified engineer to site fast to secure supplies and restore hot water safely.
What we install and service — single- and dual-element immersion heaters, thermostats, mechanical and digital timers, electronic programmers and replacement glands and seals. We’re experienced with vented cylinders, unvented cylinders and indirect systems where the immersion is used as a backup. Typical work includes element replacement, full immersion kits, thermostat upgrades and adding time-controlled switching to take advantage of off-peak tariffs or bespoke heating schedules.
Safety and testing — every job follows current UK wiring regulations (BS 7671) and cylinder manufacturer guidance. We fit and test thermal cut-outs, RCD/RCBO protection where required and perform earth bonding checks. On completion you receive clear test results and any certificates needed for compliance. If an installation reveals wider issues with the cylinder or controls, we explain the options and provide a written recommendation.
— FAQ
Most element replacements are completed in a few hours including isolation, drainage, element fit and electrical testing. Full immersion kits or upgrades to timers and thermostats can take longer depending on access and whether we need to fit new wiring or controls.
— Other Services
We fit the element or new immersion kit, set the thermostat and timer, test protection devices, and issue test documentation on completion.
TrustMark, City & Guilds and MyBuilder accreditation, plus full test records and certification issued on completion for peace of mind.
