Whether you need a like-for-like replacement, a modern low-loss upgrade or urgent repairs to failed elements and controls, our team delivers safe, tested work and clear commissioning paperwork. With 35 years experience and NICEIC-approved contractor, City & guilds qualified electricians, ECA member and Trustmark endorsed business, we combine practical experience with current wiring regulations and responsive service.
— Our Process
We inspect the heater core, elements, controls and off-peak supply, carry out safe isolation and electrical testing, then explain the fault or upgrade options in plain terms.
You receive a clear recommendation—repair, refurbishment or replacement—plus a compliance plan and required test certificates to meet current regulations.
— Benefits
35 years in the electrical industry means we recognise common failure modes—worn elements, failed thermostats, brick core issues—and fix them efficiently using proven techniques.
We operate a 24/7 emergency service for sudden heater failure or safety faults, isolating hazards, restoring safe heating where possible and arranging next-step repairs.
Installation: We install modern storage heaters and replacements for older units—standard ceramic core, low-loss models and fan-assisted types. Installations include correct sizing by kW output for room heat loss, secure fixings, correct off-peak charger wiring and setting up thermostat and timer controls so the heater charges and discharges correctly overnight.
Maintenance & Repair: Common service work includes element replacement, thermostat and timer swaps, capacitor and control board fault finding, fan motor replacement and brick core refurbishment. Each visit includes electrical testing, functional checks and a brief handover on controls. For landlords and businesses we provide periodic inspection and maintenance plans and can issue Electrical Condition Reports (EICR) and certificates where required.
— FAQ
Many older heaters can be repaired—elements, thermostats and timers are routinely replaced—but if the core is badly degraded or controls are obsolete a replacement is often more reliable and efficient. We assess the unit on site and advise the most cost-effective, safe option.
